Mcchip-Dkr launched recently a rather serious powerkit for the Mercedes AMG GT and its high-performance version, the AMG GT S. As you know, both versions of the supercar are powered by a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine. This engine puts out 462 hp and 600 Nm of torque in the Mercedes AMG GT and 510 hp and 650 Nm in the AMG GT S. Thanks to Mcchip's new powerkit, both versions of the Mercedes AMG GT deliver 590 hp and 750 Nm of torque. According the Mcchip's official specifications, their AMG GT S is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.6 seconds. This is 0.2 seconds faster than the standard version of the supercar. Mcchip's AMG GT is able to reach a top speed of 198 mph (320 km/h). The price of this new power upgrade is set at 1,899.00 Euro.
Mcchip did not disclose a whole lot of details regarding their new powerkit for the Mercedes AMG GT. However, they do mention it includes a reprogrammed ECU.
