Rumors of a Mercedes SLS AMG replacement started quite a while back. Today Mercedes confirmed that the new AMG GT, which is going to replace the SLS AMG, is in its final stages of development. Apparently, the Mercedes AMG GT is going to be unveiled at the next Paris Auto Show. Mercedes released today the first images of its interior and we have to admit, it does look quite nice. Rumor has it that Mercedes is going to offer three versions of the AMG GT, including a high-performance Black Series Version. All three are going to be powered by the same 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged version. The entry level Mercedes AMG GT is going to output 480 hp, the mid-range model will develop 520 hp while the top of the range Black Series is going to spit out 580 hp.

The images of the AMG GT released by Mercedes today show a two-tone red and black leather upholstery, Piano black trim parts, carbon styling parts, and various brushed aluminum surfaces.
