The British journalist from Autocar had the chance of taking the new Aston Martin Virage for a spin and released the first review video for the new model. Aston's new Virage is a two door coupe, that also comes as a convertible (Volante), powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine. With an output of 490 bhp and 570 Nm of torque, the new Aston Martin Virage is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph, or 100 km/h, in 4.6 seconds and has an officially rated top speed of 186 mph (299 km/h).
The performance figures are impressive, but they do come at a cost. Aston set the price for the new Virage at around 150,000 GBP.
Aston Martin looks at the new Virage as an
evolution from the DB9, which does explain the similar looks. However, the new Aston Martin Virage aims to take a place between the DB9, and the more capable, DBS.
