One of today's rumors say the Audi A1 will go into production in October at the company's plant in Belgium. In the beginning only the three door version of the Audi A1 will be built in small numbers, with the five-door version coming later.
The Audi A1 will offer a range of four cylinder engines and will become available in showrooms from next year. Although the release and production dates are known, the actual Audi A1 has not been presented yet. the company's small concepts from the last years include the Audi Metroproject Quattro and the Audi A1 Sportback. It's very probable that the Audi A1 will borrow a number of features from these two concepts.
The Audi A1 price will be announced closer to its unveiling.
