The first images and details of the Audi R8 Spider have leaked over the web last night. Details are scarce bet we expect the Audi R8 Spider to be powered by the same 5.2-litre V10 engine developing 525 hp and 530 Nm of torque. The gearbox options offered by the Audi R8 Spider are a 6-speed manual or the R Tronic sequential transmission.
In terms of design, the Audi R8 Spider is fitted with a soft top, the side blades are gone and the new model features LED lights for both the front and the rear.
Rumors say the Audi R8 Spider will not be available with the 4.2-liter engine, but some believe it will have an electric version.
The Audi R8 Spider price tag is not known yet.
