Audi announced at the end of last week the price list of the high performance TT RS for the USA market. Audi of America announced that the 2012 TT RS is priced at 56,850 USD, excluding destination charges, taxes, title, options and dealer charges. The USA version of the Audi TT RS is powered by the same 2.5 liter turbocharged five-cylinder TFSI engine which develops 360 hp between 5,500 rpm and 6,700 rpm and 343 lb-ft of torque between 1,650 and 5,400 rpm. The power of the TT RS is sent to the quattro all-wheel drive via a 6-speed manual transmission.
With this powertrain, the RS version of the Audi TT is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and to get to a tops peed of 174 mph. the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the TT RS have not been rated yet.
The TT RS comes equipped as standard with 19” rotor wheels, oval exhaust pipes, a rear diffuser and wing, a multifunction steering wheel, aluminum door sills and 10-way power sport front seats.
