According to various sources the Audi A3 sedan is in the works the German carmaker is planning to sell it at the beginning in the United States. The Audi A3 sedan is not the only novelty to hit the North American shores. The company is also planning to bring here a small crossover, the Audi Q3 and the 5-door version of the Audi A3 powered by a 2.0 liter clean diesel engine.
However, the company has cancelled its plans to sell the Audi A1 and the Audi A3 convertible on the North American market. For the small segment they have other plans which include a battery electric version of the Audi A2. This electric version of the Audi A2 will also become available in the U.S.
The re-styled Audi A8 sedan will hit the market by the end of next year while the new A7 will come in 2011.
