BMW continues the slow striptease of unveiling their new performance model by releasing today new BMW 1 Series M Coupe images. The new BMW 1 Series M Coupe images are shot in Paris and reveal the right rear corner of the car, together with the two double exhaust pipes. Apart from the custom front bumper, which we have seen in previous images, the German company is also showing today that the BMW 1 Series M Coupe will have a newly designed rear bumper too.
The BMW 1 Series M Coupe will have a new version of the 3.0-litre twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine that powers the Z4 sDrive35iS. The BMW 1 Series M Coupe will have an increased power output, some speculating to over 350 hp. This will be coupled with a lowered weight of less than 1450 kg.
Low weight and extra power means the BMW 1 Series M Coupe will be quite fun to drive. Early rumors say it will do 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds.
