According to various sources, the new BMW 1 Series M coupe managed to establish a Nurburgring lap time of just over 8 minutes (8 minutes 12 seconds to be exact). At this point, this BMW 1 Series M Nurburgring lap time is pure speculation since the car maker has not released any official details regarding this matter. Let's hope they do soon.
Revealed last week, the BMW 1 Series M coupe will have its global debut at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit before going on sale in May 2011. The BMW 1 Series M price will start in Europe at 50,000 EUR. The price list for the USA market will be announced at a later date.
The BMW 1 Series M is powered by the 3.0-liter
6-cylinder engine that has been tuned to output 335 hp and 450 Nm of torque. With a top speed limited to 155 mph, the BMW 1 Series M is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
