BMW has released today a new BMW 1 Series M video showing the new performance coupe side by side with the legendary BMW M3 Sport Evo. The new video offers a detailed view of the interior and exterior of the new BMW 1 Series M Coupe, together with various driving scenes and of course, the engine and exhaust sound.
The new BMW 1 Series M Coupe is powered by a 3.0 liter engine developing 335 hp and 450 Nm of torque that also has an overboost function. With that little thing in place, the output of the BMW 1 Series M Coupe raises by 50 Nm of torque. The top speed of the BMW 1 Series M Coupe is rated at 155 mph (250 km/h) (electronically limited) and the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration at 4.7 seconds.
The BMW 1 Series M Coupe will go on sale this year and will be priced at 50,500 EUR. It's world premiere will take place at the Detroit auto show.
