X-Tomi Design from Hungary has imagined the future BMW 8 Series. His virtual interpretation of a possible future 8 Series Bimmer is basically the coupe version of the new BMW 7 Series. It features a sloping roofline and a sleek silhouette. Even though it looks quite appealing, a coupe version of the new 7 Series Bimmer would probably be a little too, for a coupe. There are strong indications BMW is planning a new version of the 8 Series, but we doubt its going to be based on the new 7 Series. The original BMW 8 Series was a grand tourer, which was built between 1989 and 1999. It was sold with either a 4.0-liter V8, or one of three V12 powertrains (5.0-liter, 5.6-liter and 5.4-liter). The BMW 8 Series was the first car to ever offer a V12 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
For the late '90s, the BMW 8 Series was quite a revolutionary vehicle.
We hopes BMW decides to bring back the 8 Series in the near feature. We'll have more details about this possible top of the range Bimmer as soon as they are available.
