The complete details and images of the BMW Alpina B5 BiTurbo have been released yesterday by the traditional BMW tuner. The BMW Alpina B5 BiTurbo is powered by an aluminum V8 engine with Honeywell-Garrett bespoke exhaust turbines that develops 507 hp (373 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 700 Nm of torque between 3,000 and 4,750 rpm. The powertrain of the BMW Alpina B5 BiTurbo features an optimized inter-cooling system (air-to-water / water-to-air) with short intake tracts and increased inter-cooler flow, direct injection and Double-VANOS.

The engine of the BMW Alpina B5 BiTurbo is coupled with a ZF SWITCH-TRONIC 8-speed sport automatic transmission.

The BMW Alpina B5 BiTurbo specs say it has a top speed of 191mph (307km/h) and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 4.7 seconds. To stop from these speeds, the BMW Alpina B5 BiTurbo has been fitted with bigger brakes. It has ventilated high-performance brakes with 374mm/14.7in discs in the front and 370mm/14.6in discs at the rear.

The suspension of the BMW Alpina B5 BiTurbo has also been improved and now offers the best compromise between good handling and comfort.



As far as the visuals go, the BMW Alpina B5 BiTurbo has a new aerodynamics package which includes a rear spoiler and diffuser, and a modified interior. It's been equipped with a leather interior, comfort seats and a navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity.
