BMW and Alpina revealed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show the new B6 Gran Coupe xDrive, which is based on the new 6 Series Gran Coupe Bimmer. The BMW Alpina B6 Gran Coupe is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 bi-turbo engine that develops 540 hp and 540 lb-ft of torque. With this engine, BMW's Alpina B6 Gran Coupe is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 198 mph. The engine of the Alpina B6 Gran Coupe is mated to an 8-speed Sport Automatic Transmission with Switch-Tronic and an xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system. The Alpina B6 Gran Coupe is equipped with high performance stainless steel sport exhaust system with elliptical tailpipes, Electronic Damping Control, Active Roll Stabilization and variable torque distribution.

The BMW Alpina B6 Gran Coupe sits on 20-inch alloys, 14.7-inch front brake discs and 13.6-inch rear ones. The Alpina B6 Gran Coupe's body kit includes a front apron and splitter, a boot lid spoiler and a modified rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. The BMW Alpina B6 Gran Coupe's price starts at $118,225 in the USA. The price includes the $925 destination and handling charge.
