BMW has announced today the availability of the BMW M3 GTS in the UK. The German carmaker has announced today that the BMW M3 GTS will become available in the UK after January, 2011, as this is the date the car goes into production. The good news is that the BMW M3 GTS will also be offered in a right-hand-drive configuration. The BMW M3 GTS UK price will be announced closer to the moment the new version will go on sale here.
The BMW M3 GTS specs for the British market are the same as for the rest of Europe. The power comes from an enlarged 4.4-liter (4,361cc) engine that has been upgraded and outputs 450hp and 440Nm of torque. The top speed of the BMW M3 GTS is rated at 190mph and the manufacturer says it can top 62 mph in just 4.4 seconds. The new hardcore version of the BMW M3 can cover a kilometer from a standing start in just 22.5 seconds.
