Over the past days BMW has started a viral advertising campaign for a mystery concept, on a website called "Don't Blog About This". The website in question has published a number of image of a prototype / test mule / concept that's half a BMW 6 Series and half Vision EfficientDynamics concept. The mystery BMW concept seems to have no engine, as it doesn’t make any noise and is fitted with some rather tiny wheels.

WCF managed to learn today that the mystery concept is named BMW i100 Coupe ActiveHybrid, just as the viral website has published a new video. The BMW i100 Coupe ActiveHybrid will probably get its juice from a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbo diesel coupled with an electric

motor as part of a new type of plug-in hybrid system.

Although a hybrid, the BMW i100 Coupe ActiveHybrid is a BME hybrid. This means it will pack a serious punch. It's expected to output around 350 hp and an amazing 800 Nm of torque. The BMW i100 Coupe ActiveHybrid is expected to offer more than 60 miles to the gallon while emitting less than 100 g/km of CO2.

At this point, the details of the BMW i100 Coupe ActiveHybrid are speculations, however, we'll keep you informed with the latest developments. Even if we're asked not to blog about this.
