The Baileyspeed Blade is the dream supercar of its designer, Neal Bailey. We think it looks awesome, but wait, it's not just a computer generated dream, it's actually getting built. Neal Bailey is a track regular so we also expect performance, not just good looks, from his Blade prototype.
The Baileyspeed Blade is built on a Cobra chassis modified to integrate a fully adjustable independent rear suspension with adjustable shocks. The front suspension uses adjustable upper and lower control arms and with adjustable performance shocks.
The Baileyspeed Blade is powered by a ROUSH 353IR 8-Stack fuel injected engine that |
develops 480 hp at 6000 rpm and 460 lb.ft. of torque at 4200 rpm.
Neal expects to finish his project by the end of 2008. He hasn't decided the price for the Baileyspeed Blade yet, but he is sure it will not be sold at supercar level prices.
