Brabus revealed today their upgrade kit for the non-AMG 2012 Mercedes ML, ahead of the aftermarket program’s world debut, which will take place at the 2011 Essen Motor Show. Brabus's new 2012 M Class is based on the ML 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC, which has received the ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit. With the D6S, the 2012 Brabus ML outputs a massive 690 Nm (457 to 509 lb-ft) of torque between 1,600 and 2,400 rpm, and 306 hp (301 bhp) / 225 kW at 3,600 rpm. Brabus says that their new 2012 M Class is able to get from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6 seconds, which is 1.4 seconds faster than the factory model. The Brabus Ml 2012 is rated with a top speed of 229 km/h (142 mph). Equipped with the D6S power kit, the Brabus 2012 Mercedes ML continues to be Euro VI compliant.

The main highlight of the Brabus 2012 ML is its new body kit, which includes a new front bumper and spoiler, re-designed side skirts, fender attachments, a rear spoiler and a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. We're a bit disappointed that the new M Class from Brabus does not have a double exhaust, but a single one with twin tail pipes.

As always, Brabus can fit the M Class with huge 18 to 22 inch alloy wheels, and a BILSTEIN suspension, which can lower the SUV's center of gravity by up to 30 mm.

Brabus also developed a new AIRMATIC suspension of the 2012 Mercedes ML, which can further lower the ride height between 30 and 40 mm (1.2 – 1.6 inches).

Lot of power on a big car, requires a set of very powerful brakes. In consequence, Brabus equips the 2012 ML with 6-piston fixed aluminum calipers and vented / cross-drilled 405 x 34 millimeters (16 x 1.3 inches) discs on the front axle. The rear of the 2012 ML gets 4-piston fixed aluminum calipers and 380 x 28 mm (15 x 1.1 inches) discs.

For the interior of the 2012 Mercedes ML, Brabus offers a range of optional equipment, including a leather / Alcantara upholstery, and carbon fiber parts.

The price of the 2012 Brabus ML will be announced at a later date.
