The aftermarket specialists from Piecha Design have revealed today their new Mercedes ML upgrade program, called Evorian RS. The Piecha Mercedes ML Evorian kit can also be installed on the GL-class X164, as they are closely related models. The Piecha Mercedes ML sits on a set of massive wheels, measuring 10x22 inch at the front and 11.5x22 inch at the rear. They are covered with 275/35ZR22 and 315/30ZR22 tires. Apart from the custom rims, the Piecha Mercedes ML is also fitted with an H&R coilover suspension, which lowered the ride height of the German SUV by 35 mm at the front and 50 mm at the rear axle.
In terms of performance, the Piecha Mercedes ML program offers the Power Converter Intermedia RC which improves acceleration and the reaction time
of the accelerator pedal at low speeds.
The new body kit of the Piecha Mercedes ML includes a front spoiler with integrated LED daytime running lights, new side skirts, a high-gloss chrome aerowings and a rear diffuser. The Piecha Mercedes ML also features Quadro-4-tube exhaust system with of two chrome-plated double-tube end pieces.

After the last PIECHA Design world premiers (SLK Performance RS & E-Class Cabriolet) were spectacular refinements of fresh air bolides, the Rottweil Mercedes-Benz specialists now took an off-road "field trip":
The brand-new Evorian RS-programme was specifically customised by PIECHA Design for the W164 M-Class and the technically closely related GL-class X164.
These full-size-SUVs are, for example, wonderfully complemented by the huge PIECHA dp1-CC Silver light metal wheel rims in three-part style with their high-gloss polished stainless steel bases. They are 10x22 inches in front and a full 11.5x22 inches at the rear. The complete wheel set is complemented with Continental high performance tyres in 275/35ZR22 and 315/30ZR22 sizes.
The XXL wheels will only exhibit their full effect in a lowered vehicle. PIECHA Design therefore offers a lowering set produced by the H&R undercarriage specialists for vehicles with coil springs to lower the Mercedes Benz brothers by 35 mm at the front and by as much as 50 at the rear, giving
the immense off-roaders an even more powerful appearance. For airmatic vehicles, a PIECHA ETS lowering module is available alternatively.
It is probably common knowledge by now that vehicles refined by PIECHA Design are almost mandatory equipped with the Power Converter Intermedia RC. This interesting component clearly sharpens the index curve of the electronic throttle pedal, which leads to a noticeably improved acceleration and dynamic reaction behaviour from the speed bottom. PIECHA offers this smart component for all Mercedes models built in 2000 and after with electronic gas pedal.
For the M-class front area, PIECHA Design offers
impressive LED day headlights integrated by the tuner into structure-paint-enclosed front spoiler corners. leading forwards to perfectly continue along the line of the side sills.
In vehicles with serial auxiliary headlights, the day headlight LEDs are lit at full brilliance during the day, while they dim to a light output of 20 percent with the main headlights switched on, to become additional position lights. In vehicles that already have serial day headlights, however, the PIECHA daylight inserts light only with the main headlights switched on, and act as position lights. Both versions are TÜV approved and permissible without entry.
With the LEDs embedded in the side sills (4 per side), PIECHA lights the entering areas on either side of the vehicle – which is not only practical but also looks insanely good in the dark.
PIECHA Design offers high-gloss chrome aerowings for the Evorian RS-model cowling that not only express sportiveness and elegance – the six of them also much increase the front area dynamics.
At the tail end of the vehicle, in contrast, an RS tail diffuser draws all looks. It is specifically designed for the PIECHA Quadro-4-tube exhaust conversion. The latter consists of two chrome-plated double-tube end pieces that are simply screwed to the serial mufflers. The RS tail diffuser insert is also swapped for the original insert and matches GL and ML models after the model maintenance of 2008. This creates a completely new and much more sportive look in just a few steps. Return to the serial version is just as easy – a great advantage in leased vehicles. The tail diffuser can also be used for vehicles with a trailer coupling. The corresponding marking is applied to the component already so that the aperture can be cut out.
