Citroen released today the first teaser image of their new SUV, which is going to be called the DS X7. The world debut of the Citroen DS X7 is going to take place at the end of this month. The new SUV will probably go on sale soon after its unveiling. The Citroen DS X7 is going to be sold with various petrol and diesel engines, including a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit with 200 hp and 275 Nm of torque, a 163 hp and 240 Nm version of the same engine and a 1.8-liter engine developing 139 hp and 170 Nm. Citroen DS X7's price is rumored to start at just under 26,000 USD and to go as high as 32,000 USD. Citroen is going to build the DS X7 on the same platform as the one they build the DS5 and DS 5LS on. We'll have more details on the DS X7 as soon as Citroen makes them available.
Meanwhile, check out the Citroen DS Wild Rubis concept the French carmaker revealed back in April last year. The DS X7 is the production version of this particular concept.
