Citroen revealed the new DS Wild Rubis concept, which previews the French carmaker's future high-end SUV. The Citroen DS Wild Rubis measures 4.7 meters in length, 1.95 m in width and 1.59 m in height. It has a 2.9 meters wheelbase and it comes fitted with larger 21-inch alloys. The new Citroen DS SUV is going to have its world debut later this month at the Shanghai Motor Show. The DS SUV will be Citroen's fourth model of the DS range, which also includes the DS3, the DS4 and the DS5. The Citroen DS SUV concept is a full-hybrid, plug-in vehicle. This powertrain might find its way into the production version of the DS SUV, but we're pretty sure Citron is going to offer the new model with petrol and diesel engines too. The Citroen DS Wild Rubis does look quite futuristic, but many of its design details are not going to make it into production.
Citroen's DS Wild Rubis comes with a #D front grille, LED headlights, LED rear lights surrounded by chrome accents, and twin exhaust pipes. So far, Citroen did not disclose mane technical details regarding the SUV DS, which means the vehicle is still just a design concept.
