Citroen revealed today the cabrio version of the high-performance DS3 R Cabrio. The Citroen DS3 R Cabrio is currently just a concept, but expect it to go on sale in the near future. After the French carmaker revealed the R (Racing version) of the DS3, as well as the cabriolet version of the DS3, is was just a mater of time before they also made the Racing version of the DS3 convertible. The Citroen DS3 R Cabrio concept is going to hae its world debut at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The DS3 Cabrio Racing is powerrd by a 1.6-litre engine that puts out 202 bhp, which is quite a lot for a car this size. Citroen equipped the Racing vewrsion of the DS3 Cabrio with bigger brakes, a modified running gear and a carbon-fiber package. The Citroen DS3 R Cabrio comes with Moondark matt exterior finish, 19-inch alloys finished in gloss black, and Black Chrome inserts on the handles, boot trim and door mirrors. Its black canvas roof has a carbon-fibre look. Various parts of the DS3 R Cabrio, such as brake callipers, wheel hubs and the "go-faster" stripes are painted in Carmin red. For the interior of the DS3 R Cabriolet, Citroen chose bucket seats, Napa full-grain leather, and various other distinctive trim parts.
