Citroen released today the first teaser image of the DS3 cabrio, which is going to be officially unveiled tomorrow. The world premiere of the DS3 cabriolet is going to take place next month at the Paris auto show. So far, Citroen did not announce the date on which the new DS3 will go on sale. The Citroen DS3 convertible features a retractable soft-top, which folds back on top of the luggage compartment. The teaser image does not show it clear enough, but we believe that the DS3 cabrio's top folds in the same way the Fiat 500C's does. However, Citroen could've also chosen the same solution as Mini did for their cabriolet. Some sources believe that Citroen is going to name the convertible DS3 the "Airflow", but this has not been officially confirmed yet.
The Citroen DS3 cabrio will feature the same engine range as the hard-top version. These include a 1.6-liter e-HDi with 112 hp, a powerful 1.6-liter THP with 155 hp and a diesel HDi with 92 hp. We'll have more information regarding the DS3 cabriolet tomorrow.
