Today, the first images of the sporty new Citroen DS3-R have leaked over the web. The first details of the Citroen DS3-R say it will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbo engine good for over 200 hp. If this is the case, the Citroen DS3-R could probably accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 7 seconds. The Citroen DS3-R will have a lower ride height and will be equipped with better brakes and some say even a limited-slip differential. The power of the engine is sent to the wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. Is possible that the new Citroen DS3-R will also be fitted with a more performance tuned suspension and chassis.
The Citroen DS3-R will also feature a new aerodynamics package and, as seen from the images, orange rims.
The official debut of the Citroen DS3-R will take place at the Geneva auto show.
