Do you remember the GTbyCitroen concept from some time back? The French carmaker has come up with a new one called Citroen GQ. The company has released the first images of the Citroen GQ concept, but did not revealed much information about it yet. Yes, the name of the Citroen GQ implies a connection with the magazine with the same name. Actually, the magazine helped design the Citroen GQ concept through its editor, GQ Dylan Jones.

The Citroen GQ concept is powered by a 1.6-liter THP direct-injected petrol engine as part of a hybrid system. The numbers say the Citroen GQ can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and that it has a top speed of 250 km/h, electronically limited of course.

The Citroen GQ might never hit the production line as it's mostly a design exercise. In the word of its creators, the Citroen GQ wants to be sleek rather than too macho, comfortable and futuristic.

The Citroen GQ concept will be unveiled in London next week. We'll have more details on the Citroen GQ at the time of its unveiling.
