Chevrolet revealed today the Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition to celebrate their 100 year history in racing. Chevy's new special edition Corvette Z06 has a range of special features, including a black color scheme, unique design elements and as they say, sports car technology. The Z06 Centennial Edition also features satin-black graphics, and special black wheels with red brake calipers.
Chevrolet will sell the Corvette Z06 Centennial equipped with the Magnetic Selective Ride Control system, which they say it's the "fastest-reacting suspension".
At the interior, the Corvette Z06 Centennial comes with leather-wrapped instrument panel and
doors and various microfiber suede accents.
The first unit of Chevy's new special edition Z06 will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson to help the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer. The auctioned 2012 Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition is based on the 3LZ production model and comes with the Z07 performance package, the carbon fiber hood and CFZ carbon fiber package.
