Chevrolet revealed the 2016 Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition, which comes as a road-going, track-capable version of the racecar with the same name. The 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition is going to be sold in only 500 units and it's going to be available in either yellow or black. The Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition's price has not been announced yet, but Chevy says it will go on sale later this year. The Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition is going to be available as a coupe or convertible and it will feature the 3LZ trim. The car will feature special C7.R Edition graphics, black wheels with yellow accents and branded center caps and yellow brake calipers. The Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition will also come equipped with the Z07 Performance Package, which includes Brembo carbon ceramic brakes and Michelin PS Cup 2 tires.
Chevrolet equips the new Corvette C7.R Edition with carbon fiber body parts including a hood section, and Spectra Gray Metallic grills and vents.
At the interior, the Corvette C7.R Edition features Jet Black leather and sueded microfiber upholstery, Competition Sport seats, steering wheel and shifter, distinctive door sills, and various carbon fiber trim parts.
