Bob Lutz, the chairman of General Motors, posted on the GM FastLane Blog a photo of a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 police car. We doubt that Any-State PD will ever spend the around 100,000 USD necessary to get a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and then spend a little more to make it a police car.
The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is powered by an LS9 supercharged 6.2 liter V8 engine that outputs 620 hp and 823 Nm of torque. Having this in mind, a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 police car running free on the road would make any speeder think twice before stepping on the gas pedal.
