 »  »  »

The Dacia Duster No Limit, which was a new entry in the 2011 Pikes Peak Hill Climb, managed a very respectable 3rd place in the toughest category of the race - the Unlimited class. Powered by a Nissan GT-R engine, the Duster No Limit was slower than Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima, who ended on the 1st place, and Rhys Millen who came second. Renault's Dacia Duster No Limit was driven to success by Jean-Philippe Dayraut, who ran the circuit in 10 minutes and 17.707 seconds.

The Dacia Duster No Limit, although based on a factory vehicle, is heavily modified. It features a 3.8-litre V6 engine, which is tuned to develop a massive 850 hp. It has countless aerodynamics upgrades, a new suspension system, and brakes the size of planets.

The main highlight of this year's Pikes Peak Hill Climb was Monster Tajima's race, who managed to brake the 10 minute barrier of the course. Tajima and his Suzuki SX4 Hill Climb Special ran the 19.99 km of the track in 9 minutes and 51.278 seconds. Rhys Millen and his Hyundai PM580 managed a time of 10 minutes and 09.202 seconds.
