Various sources are reporting that the Duster is the new face of Dacia. This means that all future versions and models produced by the Romanian volume manufacturer will have the same front end basic design lines as the Dacia Duster SUV. In an interview taken during the Paris auto show, Renault's designer, Laurens van den Acker, mentioned the fact that the front end design of the Dacia Duster SUV will be carried on to all the brands models, including the Logan and the Sandero.
Apart from Europe, an important market for the Dacia brand is Brazil. However, he did not mention whether or not the Brazilian versions of the Dacia models will also have the Duster face.
The first model to adopt the "face" of the Duster SUV will be the next version of the Dacia Logan, which will hit the market sometime in 2012.
The Dacia Sandero facelift could also borrow the front end design of the Duster. The Sandero facelift is expected to come on the market in two years time.
