The Dacia Duster No Limit rally car is getting closer to its debut at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, which is one of the toughest race of the 2011 calendar. Renault recently released a presentation of the Dacia Duster No Limit on video. The clip shows driver Jean-Philippe Dayraut who takes Dacia's Duster No Limit for a spin around the track.
Since the launch of the Duster, Renault's been very busy promoting its new budget SUV through various types of rally racing. Their latest effort involves the heavily modified Duster which will compete in the famous Pikes Peak Hill Climb in the USA. Unfortunately, this race prepped Duster has almost nothing in common with the factory vehicle on which it's based on.
Its engine comes from a Nissan GT-R and it develops 850hp. The aerodynamics of the Duster have been modified and now the car comes with a huge rear wing. The suspension, brakes and chassis of the Dacia Duster No Limit have also been modified to be able to cope with the harsh environment of the race.
