FPV, or Ford Performance Vehicles, revealed this week in Australia the new GT F and the Ute Pursuit Limited Edition. The main attraction of the FPV Ute Pursuit is its overboost function, which offers 15 per cent more power. Talking about horsepower, the FPV GT F is powered by a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine that delivers 351 kW (almost 430 hp). The new engine of the FPV GT F was developed in collaboration with Prodrive Premcar and is meant to celebrate the 351 cubic-inch 5.8 liter V8s that powered the original Falcon GTs. The FPV GT F is fitted with rear camber bolt adjustment on the rear suspension. This means you can adjust it for track days. The FPV GT F's price has not been announced yet, but the company says it will build 500 units for the Australian market and 50 for New Zealand.
The FPV Ute Pursuit is going to be built in 120 units.
The FPV GT F comes with an exterior striping package, gloss black accents on the 'raccoon eyes', grilles, appliques, door handles, mirrors and rear diffuser. The FPV GT F also features orange styling accents on the badges, instrument dial faces, seat stitching and embroidery, build number and manual transmission plaquette and the ICC start-up screen.
The FPV Ute Pursuit's distinctive styling features include the bonnet/roof/rear deck black-out. The FPV Ute Pursuit's price hasn't been announced either.
