When Ford straps a large rear wind on the back of one of their Mustangs, you know they mean business. The Ford Mustang Boss 302s is the latest addition to the Blue Oval's track car model range. Developed by Ford Racing, the Ford Mustang Boss 302s has a 5.0-liter 4-valve Ti-VCT V8 engine that's able to launch 440 hp to the car's rear wheels. The Ford Mustang Boss 302s is based on the street version of the 302, however, it comes with a range of upgrades. The Ford Mustang Boss 302s has the same 6-speed transmission as the road going model and has a T2 Torsen differential and 3.73 gears.

Being a track oriented race car, the Ford Mustang Boss 302s needs to have a 'pro' level suspensions system. The Ford Mustang Boss 302s is offered

with two-way adjustable coil-over dampers and anti-roll bars for both the front and rear.

The Ford Mustang Boss 302s is also a lot lighter in comparison to the street legal version. The factory seam sealer, sound deadener and interior panels of the standard 302 have been removed from the Ford Mustang Boss 302s. The d Mustang Boss 302s also has a reinforced body, a 6 point FIA legal roll cage, a RECARO HANS Pro-Racer lightweight race seat, 6-point safety belt, quick release steering wheel and AIM data acquisition system with GPS.



The aerodynamics of the Ford Mustang Boss 302s have been improved by the addition of a fiberglass heat extracting hood, adjustable front splitter and adjustable carbon fiber rear wing.

The Ford Mustang Boss 302s price is set at 79,000 USD.
