Gone in 60 Seconds Eleanor On Auction

Yup! This is not a joke. One of the Eleanors actually used in the movie goes under the hammer on December 12-13 at Mecum Auctions. Only eleven Eleanors have ever been built. They are based on the 1967 Mustang Fastback. This is number 7 of the series and one of the three actually used in "Gone in 60 Seconds". The "Gone in 60 Seconds" movie was originally filmed in 1974, and had a remake in 2000, which featured Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie. Now let's talk about the car. Eleanor's heart is a Ford 351ci engine with a Holley 700 CFM carburetor and a high-volume fuel pump. Its horsepower output has not been disclosed. Eleanor sends its power to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission. It also comes with disc brakes, and a few other mods to bring it to current day, road-legal, standards.

Being able to own an original Eleanor... This opportunity comes once in a lifetime.
