Hyundai i40 Estate Info

 »  »  »

The Hyundai i40 Estate has been spied testing for the first time and the first pieces of info have surfaced the web. The Hyundai i40 Estate will share it base platform with the next generation Kia Magentis and is expected to take its wraps off next year in March. The Hyundai i40 Estate is expected to be offered with both gasoline and diesel engines, including the 1.7, 2.0 and 2.2-litre diesels and the 1.6 and 2.0-litre gasoline burning units.

The prototype spotted testing is heavily camouflaged so the exact design lines of the Hyundai i40 Estate are difficult to be anticipated. However, the roof line of the Hyundai i40 Estate seems to be slopping rather visibly towards the rear of the car.

Although at first this may look like the manufacturer will sacrifice some extra loading space, we're sure the Hyundai i40 Estate will have plenty of it.

The Hyundai i40 Estate is the replacement of the current Sonata and will be priced from 22,000 EUR. We'll keep you posted as soon as we get more details regarding the new Hyundai i40 Estate.
