Iveco Terramare

 »  »  »

Over the years many have tried to build an amphibious car that worked, and failed. This is not the case of Maurizio Zanisi though. Milan-born engineer Maurizio Zanisi is the brain behind the Iveco Terramare, an experimental amphibious vehicle from Iveco. The Iveco Terramare is based on the Iveco Daily 4x4 and recently has successfully crossed the Corsica Channel.

Although not extremely visible at first glance, the Iveco Terramare has been extensively modified in comparison with the production version from which it's derived. The Iveco Terramare features a wave management system, an internally welded steel hull, a waterjet propulsion system and an extra fuel tank with a 300 liter capacity.
