Lexus CT 300h Info

 »  »  »

Apparently, Lexus is very pleased about the way things are going with the CT 200h and is already planning a more powerful version of the hatch. Called the CT 300h, the new Lexus hatchback will have a more powerful engine than the 200h, as well as a more potent electric motor. Tony Cramb, chief executive of Lexus, revealed the initial info on the Lexus CT 300h saying in an interview that the hatch will offer more performance in comparison to the 200h, but it will try to keep the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions at the same low levels.

If Lexus is really going to build the CT 300h, this could mean that we'll also see a CT F version in the near future. The new Lexus CT F will fall in the same category as the IS F,

and will probably go against the Audi S3 and the BMW 135i.

The recently launched Lexus CT 200h is powered by a 1.8-liter 4 cylinders engine and an electric motor and has a total output of 177 hp and 349 Nm of torque. The 300h version of the Lexus CT will output more than that, and it will probably be more expensive than the 25,200 GBP base price you currently have to pay for the 200h.

We'll have more info on the Lexus CT 300h as soon as it's available.
