London Mayor tests the Tesla Roadster

London Mayor Boris Johnson, who also worked as an automotive journalist, has tested the Tesla Roadster last week. Boris Johnson was attending a preview of the IQ2 Green Festival on Climate Change conference and exhibition. the exhibition will be open for the public on Sunday 25th January at the Royal Geographical Society in London. A few of the visitors will be allowed to test the Tesla Roadster for them selves.

The Tesla Roadster is the best known electric sportscar. It is developed in California, built by Lotus in Norfolk, and over 160 owners are driving it on public streets at the moment. The Tesla Roadster is powered by an electric motor that can take t from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds.

Recently, the company announced a new model, the Tesla Roadster Sport, which is able to reach the same speed in 3.7 seconds.
