In the latest episode of his web-based auto show, Jay Leno offers one of the first Tesla Roadster 2.5 review video. The updated Tesla Roadster 2.5 is powered by an electric motor which now outputs 295 lbs-ft of torque and is coupled with a 1-speed transmission. The official top speed of the Tesla Roadster 2.5 has not been announced, however, the 0 to 60 mph acceleration takes 3.7 seconds. On a full charge of the battery pack, the Tesla Roadster 2.5 is able to run for up to 245 miles.
Apart from the improved performance, the Tesla Roadster 2.5 also comes with touchscreen navigation, an improved interior finish, and a new front design.
