In a cute email sent by Lotus yesterday, which looked like a conversation between two of the company's employees, it was announced that the Lotus Evora S and the Lotus Evora Automatic will have their debut at the Paris Auto Show. The email also said that the Lotus Evora S and the Lotus Evora Automatic will be joined on the company's stand by one or more new other models. However, at this point, Lotus has not released any details regarding this new model(s).

The complete details of the new Lotus Evora S, and of the Lotus Evora Automatic will be released at the end of this month. The standard Evora is now powered by a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Lotus Evora Automatic will be powered by an auto transmission, obviously.

The company has also announced that from today, and for three days, the Lotus Evora S and the Automatic will be put through testing on the Nurburgring Nordschleife race track. So, if you happen to be near the 'Green Hell' go take a look. If you snap a few shots of the new model's don't be shy. Send them our way.

Both the Lotus Evora S and the Automatic will also be sold in the USA.
