Following the Frankfurt unveiling of the Mazda Atenza, Mazda announced a sportier and more distinctive model for the Tokyo Motor Show. There will be three body types available for the Mazda Atenza: 4-door sedan, 5-door hatchback (Sport) and station wagon (Sport Wagon). The Mazda Atenza will be powered by a MZR2.5L gasoline engine developed from the MZR2.3L gasoline engine.

All-new Mazda Atenza, scheduled for imminent market introduction, embodies Mazda’s latest car-making philosophy: Zoom-Zoom Evolution.
