The tuners from Mcchip-dkr revealed today a new power kit for the diesel version of the Porsche Panamera. The standard Panamera Diesel is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 common-rail turbodiesel engine which is good for 250 hp and 550 Nm of torque. Mcchip's version of the Panamera Diesel develops 285 hp at 3,900 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 1,850 rpm. Mcchip says that their Panamera Diesel is able to sprint from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) half a second faster than the standard car. Its top speed is raised to 246 km/h. The new Mcchip Porsche Panamera Diesel is fitted with an H&R lowering kit, 22-inch alloys wheels and Dunlop Sport Maxx GT high-performance tires.
Apart from the diesel, Mcchip is offering power upgrades for other versions of the Porsche Panamera too. These include the GTS (430 hp), the Turbo (500 hp) and the Turbo S (550 hp). Their prices have not been announced.
