TechArt puts a little more umpf under the hood of Porsche's more efficient four-door saloon - the Panamera Diesel. Thanks to the TA 070/D1 power kit, the TechArt Porsche Panamera Diesel develops 30 hp more, for a total of 280 hp (206 kW). The torque is increased from 550 Nm to 600 Nm. Even though the Panamera Diesel does not get a huge increase in performance, this is a healthy upgrade and it is also certified by the German TUV. With TechArt's power kit on, the Panamera Diesel is able to take its huge body from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.6 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 247 km/h. The extra horsepowers offered by the TA 070/D1 kit are available at a push of a button, which is located on the center console.
The TechArt Porsche Panamera Diesel's power kit can be easily installed, and it fulfills the OEM specifications. It comes with a two-year limited warranty and TechArt says it does not affect the vehicle's diagnostics or servicing.
