According to the German magazine AUTO BILD, Daimler is preparing to bring the Mercedes CLC Shooting Brake on the market this fall. The new Mercedes CLC Shooting Brake is expected to hit the market in September, with a model taking the best features of a coupe and combining them with the practicality of a station wagon. The Mercedes CLC Shooting Brake measures 4.40 meters in length, which falls exactly between the 4.20 m CLC coupe and the 4.60 m C Class estate.

The Mercedes CLC Shooting Brake will be a four-door with a rather striking exterior design featuring avant-garde tail lights and elegant body lines. So far, the German press has uncovered a rendering of the rear of the Mercedes CLC Shooting Brake, but Auto Bild points out that

the front design is just as spectacular.

The Mercedes CLC Shooting Brake will be equipped with the All-Terrain Package, including the company's all-wheel-drive system, electric power steering, and an independent suspension.

The interesting bit comes from the engines offered with the Mercedes CLC Shooting Brake. The new model will have a 109 hp 1.2-liter gasoline engine and a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 204 hp.

The diesel Mercedes CLC Shooting Brake will be equipped with a 2.2 liter unit developing 170 hp.

The Mercedes CLC AMG Shooting Brake will be powered by a four-cylinder supercharged engine developing 272 hp. The Mercedes CLC AMG Shooting Brake will come as standard with the standard 4Matic all-wheel drive system.
