Well, so you're a dad now. You have a lot of extra responsibilities. You had to give up you black C63 for a bigger, more reasonable car. But once in a while, you would still like to have a bit of fun, if the road is empty and the kids are with the Misses. Well, VATH has just the answer for you. They've just revealed a Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake with no less than 846 hp! It has all the luggage space you'll ever need, and it develops close the 850 hp! The VATH Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake continues to be powered by the 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine, but with the tuner's V63RS kit you'll be able to get 846 hp (622 kW) and 1,180 Nm torque out of it. The V63RS package includes a modified turbocharger, an air charge cooling system, and a new exhaust with a modified downpipe and rear silencer.
The downside of the story is the price. VATH is going to leave your pockets 46,172 EUR lighter for this job. But you'll get a top speed of 350 km/h. So fat the aftermarket specialist did not disclose the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of their CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake.
VATH's complete aftermarket program for the Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake includes a new spring set that reduces the ride height by 20-40 mm (1,166.20 Euro plus 297.50 Euro for assembly including wheel alignment and 238.00 Euro MOT-fees).
There are also bigger brakes with 6-piston calipers and 405-mm discs at the front, together with a set of pads, racing Castrol SRF brake fluid and flexible steel brake hoses (6,009.50 Euro plus 416.50 Euro assembly and 238.00 Euro MOT).
VATH's package for the Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake also includes:
- fuel cooler 1.166.20 Euro (plus 238.00 Euro assembly) or 1.011.50 Euro (plus 238.00 Euro assembly). It's an 850 hp engine so you have to get this.
- wheels/tires combinations: 9,5x20 inches with 265/30ZR20 (1.542.24 Euro) and on the rear axle in 11.5 x20 inches with 305/25ZR20 (1.832.60 Euro) respectively.
- carbon front spoiler: 1.416.10 Euro (plus 238.00 Euro installation and MOT)
- carbon rear diffuser: 2.011.10 Euro plus 178.50 Euro for assembly
For the interior of the Shooting Brake CLS63 AMG, VATH is offering the carbon treatment, which is going to cost you 3.927.00 Euro (plus 238.00 Euro for assembly), a carbon/wood sports steering wheel (1.297,10 Euro) and a 390 km/h speedometer (1.535,10 Euro plus 119.00 Euro assembly).
Well, a stock Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake is going to cost you at least 117,512.50 EUR. As much as we like the idea of an 850 hp family car, we're not going to add up the numbers...
