Daimler has launched today the Mercedes G EDITION.PUR and the Mercedes G LIMITED.30 special edition versions to mark the birthday of the G Class. The Mercedes G EDITION.PUR is based on the G 280 CDI from the 461 model series that has been designed to manage the most difficult terrain. The long wheelbase Mercedes G EDITION.PUR celebrates first-generation G-Class and has been modified to be able to go anywhere.
The Mercedes G EDITION.PUR can be equipped with all-terrain 265/75 R 16 tires on aluminum rims, flexible wheel arch flaring, protective grilles for the headlamps and lights, a walk-on bonnet for easier access to the roof rack, a towing lug at the front and a two-section rear door. The interior of the Mercedes G EDITION.PUR features
hard-wearing fabric or man-made leather, rubber floor coverings, spray-protected controls and drainage openings in the footwells. As an option, the Mercedes G EDITION.PUR can also be fitted with an auxiliary heater or a manually operated AC system.
The Mercedes G LIMITED.30 is based on the Mercedes G500 of the G 463 model series and has been designed to inspire comfort and prestige. The Mercedes G LIMITED.30 is also long wheelbase and features a designo platinum black paintwork, specially designed light-alloy wheels and LIMITED.30 lettering on the wings.
The interior of the Mercedes G LIMITED.30 features designo "chablis" leather and anthracite wood trim.
