The world debut of the Mercedes GLE63 AMG high-performance SUV took place today at the Detroit auto show. Daimler released today the full engine specs of the Mercedes GLE63 AMG as well as its complete equipment list. The GLE63 AMG is meant to be a serious rival for the BMW X6M. The GLE63 AMG Merc is powered by the 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine that puts out 410 kW (557 hp) and 700 nm of torque. The S version of the model comes with the same engine, but it develops 430 kW (585 hp) and 760 Nm of torque. With this engine, the Mercedes GLE63 is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.3 seconds, while the GLE63 AMG S is able to reach the same speed in 4.2 seconds. According to the official specs, the GLE63 comes with an 11.9 l/100 km fuel consumption and a 279 g/km CO2 emissions level.
