Mercedes revealed today the new Marco Polo camper van at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf. As you can imagine, the Mercedes Marco Polo camper van is based on the new V Class, which in turn replaces the Viano. The Mercedes Marco Polo comes with a range of engines, including the 200 CDI (100 kW / 136 hp, 330 Nm), and the 220 CDI (120 kW / 163 hp, 380 Nm, 6.0 l per 100 km, 158 g/km CO2). The top of the range Marco Polo camper van is powered by a 190 hp and 440 Nm of torque engine that promises to offer a combined fuel economy of 6.1 l per 100 km. The Mercedes Marco Polo has a turning circle of 11.8 m and it measures 5.14 m in length and 1.98 m in height. The Marco Polo camper van is fitted with a two-seater bench in the rear that can be converted into a 2.03x1.13 m bed with a touch of a button.

Its pop-up roof is made of glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP).

The Mercedes Marco Polo's price has not been announced yet, But the German carmaker says it's going to put it on sale on from 29 July 2014. Here are the full specifications and details of the Marco Polo.
