Mercedes launched today a luxury version of their Viano van, called the Vision Pearl. Apart from the more refined exterior design, the Viano Vision Pearl also features an exclusive interior design, with a maritime theme. Mercedes will premiere the Vision Pearl Viano at the IAA international motor show in Frankfurt this September. What's interesting about Merc's new luxury van is that it has a re-styled front fascia. Could it be a preview of the facelifted Viano?
The Mercedes Viano Vision Pearl features a full leather interior in white and grey, a wooden floor, brushed aluminum trim parts, tinted windows, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and onboard W-LAN connectivity.
Mercedes got the inspiration for the Vision Pearl luxury van from the modern sporting yachts and is meant for long travels in a pleasant "living space". Mercedes sees the interior of the Viano Vision Pearl not so much as a functional space for passenger transport, but rather a living space.
The party piece of the Vision Pearl Viano is its sound system which outputs 1320 watts and has 18 speakers. This more than you get in the Mercedes S Class.
