Mercedes revealed today their Vision of how the future golf cart is going to look like. The new Mercedes Vision Golf Cart is an electric vehicle. It is powered by an electric battery, that's being recharged through a solar panel mounted on the roof of the golf cart. The Vision golf cart is controlled via a joystick mounted on the center console. Mercedes fitted their golf cart with various touch screens that can be used to control virtually all aspects of the vehicle. The Mercedes Vision Golf Cart comes with a rotatable docking station for an iPad or iPhone, USB / Bluetooth connectivity, loudspeakers, an air-conditioning system, and a head-up display. This head-up display can be used to show the course, weather information.
For extra comfort, Mercedes equips the new Vision golf cart with heated and ventilated seats that can adjusted electronically, the AIRSCARF neck-level heating system, optional lightweight doors, a retractable lightning rod. Merc's new golf cart is fitted with various storage spaces, including compartments for two golf bags.
Mercedes envisioned the Vision Golf Cart as road-legal vehicle. This means it's equipped with indicators, LED headlights and tail lights.
