Mercedes V Class Teased

 »  »  »

Mercedes released today the first teaser image of the new V Class, which is going to replace the Viano van in the German carmaker's model line-up. The Mercedes V Class is going to have its world premiere in March at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Mercedes has already shown the interior of the V Class, which is going to offer far more quality than its predecessor. Unfortunately, Mercedes did not disclose any additional details regarding the V Class to go with the teaser image. What we know so far is that the V class is going to offer a leather upholstery, a 7-inch central digital display, wood styling accents and most of Merc's safety, driver assistance and entertainment systems. Various sources are reporting that the Mercedes V Class is going to be sold with a 2.1-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine, which is going to be available in three power levels (136 hp, 170 hp and 190 hp).

The V class will be available as a two-wheel-drive van or as an AWD with either a 7- or an 8-speed automatic transmission.

We'll have more details about the Mercedes V Class as soon as they're available.
